The role of fibroblasts in the tumor microenvironment
The Gagliano Lab is a research group dedicated to studying the development and progression of cancer, particularly breast cancer. Recently, the lab has discovered that PIK3CD expressed by fibroblast promotes triple-negative breast cancer cell invasion and are currently exploring the role of fibroblasts in the tumor microenvironment.
